Brad Pitt Bid $120,000 To Watch “Game of Thrones” With Emilia Clarke
Unfortunately, someone outbid him.
Brad Pitt was willing to part with $120,000 to watch Game Of Thrones with two of its stars, Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington, but lost the bidding war. The actor made the offer while taking part in a silent auction at Sean Penn’s annual gala for Haiti, which took place at Milk Studios in L.A., according to Variety.
Pitt bid for a chance to watch GoT with Clarke, which began at $20,000. The actor reportedly offered $80,000, before outbidding himself with $90,000. At this point, Clarke’s co-star Harington offered to join the viewing, at which point Pitt raised the stakes to $120,000. The opportunity was ultimately awarded to another attendee who put up $160,000.
Of course, the event was all for charity, with proceeds going towards the J/P HRO & Disaster Relief Organizations. Lena Dunham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Segel, Connie Britton, Patricia Arquette, Mark Burnett and Leonardo DiCaprio were also in attendance. Over $3 million had been raised for efforts in Haiti by the mid-point of the event.
DiCaprio was honored for his philanthropic work against climate change. He bid $80,000 on a Josh Smith painting, but was outbid by Emilia Clarke. He later won the bid on a second Smith painting.

Brad Pitt is clearly a passionate fan of Game Of Thrones, but he’s also an avid music listener and appreciator of Frank Ocean, as he revealed in a GQ interview last year. “I find this young man so special,” he said of Frank. “Talk about getting to the raw truth. He’s painfully honest. He’s very, very special. I can’t find a bad one. And of great irony to me: Marvin Gaye’s Here, My Dear [Gaye’s touchstone album about divorce]. And that kind of sent me down a road.”
